Absolutely. We partner with climate-controlled venues including Corbett's Tucson, Tucson Soccer Center, and Immaculate Heart Gymnasium so summer birthdays stay cool and epic. Ask us about available indoor dates when you book.

Nope! We bring everything — the inflatable battlefield, all blasters and ammo, jerseys, safety glasses, and all the fun. Just provide the space and the guests.

Gel blasters fire small water-absorbent gel beads (similar in concept to paintball but much gentler). The beads break on impact and are eco-friendly and biodegradable. We provide all equipment including gel blasters, goggles, and protective gear. Gel blaster parties are best for participants 8 and up.

Gel blasters are safe when proper protective gear is worn — which we always provide. We recommend gel blaster parties for ages 8 and up. For younger children, our Nerf battles are the perfect fit. Our Battle Captains enforce safety rules throughout every event.

Our standard inflatable battlefield fits in a typical residential backyard (roughly 40×40 feet or more). We also work with parks, gym floors, pickleball courts, and indoor turf. We'll confirm venue suitability when you book.

All ages! Nerf parties are great for kids 5 and up. Gel blaster parties are recommended for 8+. We design game modes to suit the group — including adults-only and parents vs. kids formats that everyone loves.

Some activities can proceed in the rain, while others cannot. The decision to continue or cancel an event due to weather rests with us. If an event is halted, a prorated rate applies. Postponed events allow for deposit transfer to an available date. Cancelling forfeits the deposit.

Payments become non-refundable 24 hours after they are made.

The full payment is due at the time of booking. This is because we can only accommodate one party per time slot, and cancellations leave us unable to rebook guests we may have already turned away.

To confirm a booking, a confirmation email is necessary, and discussions or quotes do not equate to a confirmed reservation. Bookings are made by filling out a request form and someone from our staff will contact you to let you know if the date is available, to go over details, and take payment. We're unable to reserve event slots without a payment, and availability may change if a reservation is delayed.

Desert Swarm is Tucson’s first locally owned mobile Nerf battlefield, and we pride ourselves on delivering a professional, fully hosted experience from start to finish.

Unlike some companies, our trained battle host stays on site to organize games, manage teams, ensure safety, and keep the action fun and engaging for all players.

Our battle hosts are professional, energetic, and great with kids, with experience working with local elementary and middle schools across Tucson. We know how to keep large groups organized, safe, and having fun while making sure everyone gets involved.

We are also fully insured and properly vetted with local Parks & Recreation departments, with current Certificates of Insurance and vendor permits on file. Desert Swarm is approved to operate in Marana, Oro Valley, Gladden Farms, Pima County, and TUSD fields, so you can book your event with confidence knowing there won’t be any issues with park or field access.

When you hire Desert Swarm, you’re hiring a professional, licensed, locally owned business that handles everything—from setup to hosting to breakdown—so parents can relax and enjoy the party too. 

Locations over 20 miles from the starting point incur a $1.50/mile charge. Online credit card bookings have a processing fee.

Additional players come with a charge of $20 per person.

Desert Swarm Tucson reserves the right to capture photos and videos at all events for website and social media use, unless clients specify otherwise in writing.

Party hosts are always welcome to take photos and videos during the event—we’d love for you to share the action and tag us on social media!

By placing a deposit and hiring Desert Swarm Tucson, the business and its representatives are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses at your event. Guests causing damage are the responsibility of the party host, with potential penalty fees for replacement costs.

Liability Waiver will be signed by all participants.

All event participants must sign the liability waiver provided. Safety gear is mandatory whenever handling blasters or during active games. Participants under 18 must wear protective gear, while those over 18 can opt out at their own risk

All events must be fully paid before the event date. Tipping your Game Leader Host is optional but appreciated if you feel they did an exceptional job hosting your event.

At this time, Desert Swarm Tucson does not offer water gun parties.

Most of our events take place at local parks and community fields, and the majority of these locations do not provide a convenient water source for refilling water guns. Because of this, it’s difficult to keep games running smoothly and ensure everyone stays engaged when constant refilling is required.

Additionally, many of the structured Nerf games we host don’t translate well to water guns. Our battles are designed around Nerf blasters and foam darts, allowing us to run fast-paced games with clear rules, scoring, and team objectives.

To provide the best possible experience, we focus on our fully hosted Nerf battles, where we supply all the equipment—including blasters, darts, bunkers, safety gear, and organized games. This allows players to spend more time playing and less time waiting, making for a fun, seamless event for everyone involved.
